The Parking Pass program again seems to be working well. It lets people know that the lot is private and parking is for those with a pass only. One lot-one pass.

There was again noticeable reduction in unwanted behavior in and around our access. We need to continue to be vigilant and please call KDH dispatch
(473-3444) if anyone is demonstrating inappropriate behavior. Off duty police were hired only on Memorial weekend as everyone in the neighborhood has
taken more responsibility every year.

The Doggie bag dispensers are placed at both the Sound lot and the Beach stairs. Please continue to pick up after your animals. KDH law for Dogs on the Beach
is on a leash or voice controlled before 9am after 6 pm from May 15 to Sept 15.

The Sand fences were replaced and/or repaired. A new house was built next to
the Ocean lot. A volleyball net on the beach was added by the new owners.

A good crowd attended the pig pickin’ for those who had paid their annual
$25 dues. Thanks to High Cotton who cooked again this year.
The 2008 picnic will be the third Saturday in October -18th at 1PM Sound lot.

Our 2008 Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 3rd
from 7:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. in the Kill Devil Hills’ Town Hall meeting room.
Now is the time for new people to step-up and get involved with
ABIA---- Officers to be elected: a VP, and a Secretary.
